Self Portrait - Haley Falls

Another one of my favorite places to go is Whitaker Point, its the place of the Hawksbill Crag,  but just before you get there, there is a small waterfall called Haley's Falls, name for the little girl who got lost there and was the subject of a major search & rescue operation, she was later found safe, and this fall was named after her...

Broadwater Falls Panoramic

Broadwater Falls, Compton Arkansas.

I have been traveling to this waterfall since I started working with photography, I see photography as being the person that has the most fortunate opportunity of being in the best place at the right time. Broadwater is located off of an small, steep and rugged dirt road, It is just a short hike in from the road. I have always been pleased each time I vist. The place consist of 2 lower falls the upper main fall with a nice pool. A host of wild flowers can be seen from time to time which include Shooting Stars, Trilliums, Iris, Jack in the Pulpits, Columbine and many more.
Every time I visit broadwater I try to look at it from a different view, sometimes just to enjoy the falls. I travel to my favorite spots every year, and every year I add new spots, but my one of my most favorite has always been Broadwater.
