It was early spring last year that I found these beauties, I was poking around the falls down at Broadwater Hollow looking for another shot. Since I started photography Broadwater Hollow has been a favorite spot of mine to return to and shoot, but last year was the first time I found the elusive "Dutchman's Breeches", this year I remembered where and when and decided to have a second go at these

Another one of my favorite places to go is Whitaker Point, its the place of the Hawksbill Crag,  but just before you get there, there is a small waterfall called Haley's Falls, name for the little girl who got lost there and was the subject of a major search & rescue operation, she was later found safe, and this fall was named after her... I have some more pictures of this fall

Broadwater Falls, Compton Arkansas. I have been traveling to this waterfall since I started working with photography, I see photography as being the person that has the most fortunate opportunity of being in the best place at the right time. Broadwater is located off of an small, steep and rugged dirt road, It is just a short hike in from the road. I have always been pleased each time I vist.

Photography...  I love it, I love all aspects of it, there is just no end to the possibilities of shots, one can not say every shot has been shot... endless I see myself mainly a nature/landscape photographer, I enjoy the rugged wilderness, and its awe inspiring ability to remind you that your just not the only one in this world, that we are a very big part of a great creation, made by God, one

What a great morning it is to be able to get up, get out and get a chance to shoot some elk, maybe some scenic vistas. My plan this a.m. is to go down to Boxley Valley and see if the elk are there and then head up to the top of Cave Mountain, and see if the valley is filled with fog.
